| Process | Details |
|---|---|
| Substrate Preparation | Select appropriate substrate such as hot-dip galvanized steel sheets, hot-dip galvalume steel sheets, or electro-galvanized steel sheets. Uncoil the coil of substrate material and pass it through a leveling machine to ensure flatness. |
| Surface Cleaning | Thoroughly clean the surface of the substrate to remove dirt, oil, rust, and other contaminants by using chemical cleaning agents and mechanical brushing or spraying. |
| Pretreatment | Apply chemical conversion coating (such as phosphate or chromate) to the substrate surface to form a protective layer that enhances adhesion and provides corrosion resistance. Rinse the substrate to remove residual chemicals and then dry it. |
| Coating Application | Apply the primer coating to the pretreated substrate using a roller-coating method. After the primer is dried, apply one or more intermediate coats and a topcoat. The coatings can be of different types like polyester, silicone-modified polyester, high-durability polyester, or polyvinylidene fluoride. |
